Digital Active Learning Workshops (DALW)
In response to the growing faculty interest in increasing student engagement, the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation (DTEI) hosted a series of webinars focused on digital active learning strategies. Emerging tools, such as Canvas, Perusall, YuJa Quiz, Poll Everywhere, Gradescope, Zoom, Turnitin, and Respondus were introduced as well as best practices in how to use them to interact with your students online. Demonstrations on how to integrate these tools with Canvas were also presented.
Please feel free to contact the DTEI Support Team at DTEIsupport@uci.edu for further information about these tools, or schedule a DTEI office hour consultation session with an instructional designer to address your teaching needs.
